Taco Bell | Davante's House
davante’s house
Taco Bell wanted to partner with pro athlete Davante Adams for an ad campaign. Davante agreed—on one condition: he wanted a Taco Bell in his house. What started as a joke became the foundation for an unexpected, and absurd relationship between Davante and his Taco Bell employee.
The campaign follows the absurd reality of living with a fully operational Taco Bell inside his house, including the ups, downs, and the hilariously intimate relationship he forms with the employee who runs it.
As Davante’s career progressed he was traded the LA Rams, and as expected his in-home Taco Bell would have to come with him. What no one expected, is how close Davante and his Taco Bell employee (Todd) would become.
The campaign rolled out across TV, depicting Davante navigating everyday life with a Taco Bell built into his home. As the spots aired, audiences began to ask two questions:
Does Davante Adams actually have a Taco Bell in his house?
When Davante was traded, what would happen to his Taco Bell?
Instead of answering those questions with just words, we answered them IRL.
We built Davante Adams’ house—with a Taco Bell inside it—inside SoFi Stadium, home of the LA Rams. Fans could see firsthand that the Taco Bell was real, and that wherever Davante goes, his Taco Bell goes with him.
