The weight of launching a new iteration of the iconic NBA2K franchise is a daunting one. That weight compounds when you factor in the fanatic fanbase that clicks through every piece of content frame by frae. So when we set out to launch the 21st installment of one of the most beloved sports games, we knew it would be a challenge.

We were asked to tease the release of this highly-anticipated title… without any information about the new game, showing any game play, or a single piece of gameplay asset – because it wasn’t ready. What we did know is – that the updates would be huge, and the NBA2K fanbase is not ready.
